In 1980 Bruce Friedman and our former member, Jack Olive, founded the firm.  Donald McCubbin came aboard in 1991, and over the next five years Philip Spalding, Keith Bilter, Michael Roosevelt and George Montgomery arrived.  All of them left partnerships in large San Francisco law firms to join our boutique, specialized firm serving individual clients.  Our practice focuses on trusts and estates and related tax planning.  We take great pride in our work and in giving personal attention to our clients.
