Brandi P. Chavin practices primarily in the areas of estate planning, trust administration, probate and taxation. She represents individuals and families in estate planning matters of diverse complexity as well as trustees and executors in all aspects of trust and estate administration, including the preparation of Federal estate and gift tax returns. Ms. Chavin received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Los Angeles and graduated, Order of the Coif, from the University of California Hastings College of the Law (now UC Law San Francisco). She obtained her LL.M. in Taxation Law from Golden Gate University, receiving the Outstanding LL.M. Student Award for Tax. Ms. Chavin is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law (The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization), has been named a Super Lawyer (2015 through 2025) and Rising Star (2009 through 2014) by Northern California Super Lawyers, and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America in the practice of Trusts and Estates. Ms. Chavin is a past Chair of the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco, and recently sat on the Board of the San Francisco Estate Planning Council.

Prior to joining Friedman McCubbin Law Group LLP in 2016, Ms. Chavin was a founding partner of Feurzeig, Mark & Chavin, LLP established in 2008, and prior to that was with the firm of Titchell, Maltzman, Mark & Ohleyer, P.C.

Ms. Chavin, a Bay Area native, loves spending time on the local hiking trails, attending Giant’s games and ballet performances, and more recently, has become a bridge enthusiast.
