Biography

Kathleen works closely with individuals and families in creating customized estate plans, assists trustees and executors in all aspects of estate and trust administration, including the preparation of estate and gift tax returns, and represents executors and administrators in probate proceedings. Kathleen's diverse legal background allows her to bring unique skills and expertise to the table. In her early career, she litigated cases on behalf of low-income victims of housing and consumer fraud, assisted families in eviction matters, and represented inmates on death row. Kathleen later served as the Bankruptcy and Foreclosure editor at Nolo Press, where she authored several books, edited many others, and wrote hundreds of legal articles for a general audience.
